Quilted Cross - non-fire acrylics Drybrushing: Article or Project

Suitable bisque - Holland quilted cross per photo top right

Paints:
Duncan OS456 - baby blue
Duncan OS431 - White
Folkart metallic pearl white
Folkart extreme glitter

Materials:
Clear plastic pin lights
White pearl lace or your choice
Roses or your choice silk flowers
Optional baby's breath
Assorted stain brushes
Spray fixative - clear matte sealer or your choice

More Details

Make sure your bisque is clean, dry and dust free.

Cross:

Using white stain brush, paint baby blue on outer lace and alternate baby blue & white on diamonds. Dry brush white on outer lace. Paint metallic pearl white on the white diamonds and extreme glitter on top of that. Dry brush metallic pearl white on outer lace (more than one coat if needed).

Base:

Paint entire base with baby blue. Dry brush with metallic pearl white & extreme glitter around the bottom lace. Spray with clear matte sealer.

Using photo top right of page, finish piece by adding accents. Add pin lights, lace around middle of outer lace on cross. Add ribbon bows & silk flowers on corners of cross.
